The H-Bomb

Historical background for those reading this in the future: it’s July of 2019, and the official story from the American media is that COVID-19 is a pandemic that still requires drastic measures (i.e. shutdowns, masking, social distancing) to keep at bay until a vaccine is developed. A video was just released featuring a group of “frontline doctors” testifying to their successes in curing COVID using a drug called Hydroxychloroquine, sharing their concerns about the damage that the prevention measures might themselves cause to the American people, and making other statements all of which called into question the official story. The video has been repeatedly taken down by internet companies, marked false by fact checkers- Donald Trump Jr.’s Twitter account was suspended because he shared the video.

The first to plead his case seems right, until another comes and examines him. Pr. 18:17, NASB

So what does it tell you when he fights tooth-and-nail to prevent cross-examination?

I’m no doctor, and I don’t know all the sciences of all the things, and Hydroxychloroquine may or may not cure COVID. But let’s assume for a moment that everything that the doctors said in this presser is false.

I don’t think it is, but let’s assume it is for a moment.

Given that assumption, this lie-ful video advocates:

1. The free distribution and use of a drug that has been in use and accepted as harmless for many years

2. The relaxing or ignoring of precautions like masking and social distancing

3. An open discussion of multiple treatment options for COVID

Which of those three options justifies the blatant, heavy-handed censorship unloaded on this video?

None of them. Not by any stretch of the imagination. If this is a video of a bunch of actors in lab coats spouting non-truths, then make a video refuting their claims. It shouldn’t be hard.

We have to understand that what we are facing right now is not a medical issue. This is an issue of freedom of speech. The internet undermined the old gatekeepers of truth- the newspapers and radio and TV stations- and opened the door for unfiltered circulation of information. We are now seeing a concerted attempt to gain control- to place filters- on that circulation. And it’s not even a covert effort.

I am no medical expert. But I have a nose, and it tells me that something is rotten in the state of Denmark. The utter panic from The Experts is, for me, evidence enough that they’ve got something to hide.

The truth has nothing to fear. So if you want an easy, know-them-by-their-fruits litmus test for truth, take a look around.
